Bond and Crown Agents Bank are pleased to announce a new partnership to deepen INGO’s knowledge and understanding of the support financial services offer in the timely, safe, and transparent delivery of funds into crisis.

The partnership will support Bond’s member organisations to improve their relations with their banking partners and gain access to Crown Agents Bank’s expertise which will help NGOs develop new solutions to meet the needs of their communities better.

Through in-person events and collaborative content Crown Agents and Bond will help INGOs understand the nuances of cross-border payments and foreign exchange (FX) for hard-to-reach markets. The partnership will also provide the space for improved dialogues with Finance Directors of INGOs on the changing needs of the INGO space, from accessing new markets, last-mile payments, and new technological solutions.

Speaking about the partnership, Bond’s Director of Membership and Communications, Michael Wright said:

“We’re excited to be working with Crown Agents Bank to improve INGOs knowledge and access to financial services as we support their vital work in some of the world’s most challenging environments. This collaboration will provide the opportunity to advance INGOs’ financial abilities to provide immediate responses and long-term recovery initiatives to humanitarian crises.”

Ciara Joyce, Head of International Development Client Coverage at Crown Agents Bank said:

“At Crown Agents Bank we know that collaboration sits at the very heart of the international development sector. Our new partnership with Bond will create new platforms and opportunities to build the relationship between financial services and our development sector colleagues, as we work together to solve some of the most complex challenges in the payments and FX space, where the real, lived impact of our work is always at the forefront. We are incredibly excited to become a bigger part of the Bond community.”
